Temperatures dropped today from 97 yesterday to 74 today.  This is when we should have been playing golf.  We went to the GA State Farmers Market and got lots of great produce. We've seen old school buses everywhere converted into watermelon trucks so we couldn't leave without buying watermelon, too.

First stop is Veterans Memorial State Park in Cordele,GA.  It's a beautiful park right on a lake with a great golf course.  Our friends, Liz and Butch Jones, traveled with us as they are headed to pick up a new puppy tomorrow before heading back to TGO.  We played golf today in incredible heat.  Nick was the only one who made it through all 18 holes.

Nick and I are packed and ready to head out of The Great Outdoors (TGO), Titusville, FL to go north this summer.  Nick has a busy and fun itinerary in store for us.  Abby and Lexi are ready to go, too, as well as our neighbor, Gary Bahr, who decided he should join in the fun.
